Each uses 4-inch billet aluminum black outer tip with distinctive machined dual grooves. The chrome body features a chrome inner tip, while the black body uses a gloss black inner tip. Those inner tips echo the original NH form creating a strong visual resemblance and sonic similarity with the original versions. The short version reaches to the rear axle while the longer length extends just past the rear disc and nearly to the rear rim.
Each version features a 2.25-inch louvered core to achieve its great sound and performance.
The Cobra team developed the new cores to deliver a deep rumble. The best part of the core design is that it produces good power on the stock 2-into-1 Softail head pipe, and will create even more when the rider decides to build more power with either a larger engine or standard industry hop-up parts. Does not fit Breakouts, or Fat Boys.

The state of California considers aftermarket exhaust systems to be legal replacement parts for non-catalyst equipped motorcycles and/or if slip-on mufflers are installed downstream of the OEM catalysts.
California does not allow the use of aftermarket systems that remove original equipment catalysts, (except for racing use only) unless the Air Resources Board has issued an Executive Order for that system.
For California riders we offer Air Resources Board approved Fi2000 R ARB units. (ARB E.O. No. D-633-1). All other Fi2000 models are not legal for street use in California.
