Indian Chietain Mufflers

The Cobra Neighbor Haters Series mufflers family provides that perfect balance between sound (loud, but not too loud) and performance. And when used with the stock head pipe, these are 50-state legal.

• We offer these in two versions for the Chieftains and Challengers: The first uses 4-inch body that bells out to 4.5-inches at the rear. It features a smooth rolled end. That shape adds a megaphone enhancement to the sound, and the louvered mechanical core exits in a trumpet bell shape that allows the V-Twin soundtrack to flow at full song.

• The second version of our NH muffler uses a 4-inch body capped off with beautifully machined aluminum tips. These tips feature dual cuts finished in black with machined alluvial flutes.

• Both versions use the same core so you get the same sound and performance from either style.

• We make both versions available in either a chrome or black finish

NOTE: BECAUSE OF THE DIFFERENCE IN SADDLE BAG LENGTHS ON DIFFERENT MODELS, WE USE A SPECIFIC MUFFLER BODY TO MATCH THE BAG LENGTH.

TO ENSURE YOU ORDER THE CORRECT PART NUMBER FOR YOUR INDIAN MOTORCYCLE YOU SHOULD FIRST DETERMINE WHICH SADDLE BAG STYLE IS ON YOUR BIKE. IF IT IS THE ORIGINAL STYLE LONGER “FLARED” BAG (THESE WILL USUALLY HAVE THE TWIN BAG LATCHES ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BAGS), THEN YOU WILL NEED PART NUMBERS 5205/5205B OR 5206/5206B.

IF YOU HAVE THE NEWER STYLE, SHORTER MORE ROUNDED BAG, (AS ON THE NEW CHALLENGER MODELS) THEN YOU SHOULD ORDER THE 5207/5207B OR 5208/5208B.

OTHER THAN THE OVERALL LENGTH THE MUFFLERS ARE THE SAME.

For the Indian models that do not come with the hard bags we supply a muffler with no top mounts for the bags.

    Emissions Notice

    The state of California considers aftermarket exhaust systems to be legal replacement parts for non-catalyst equipped motorcycles and/or if slip-on mufflers are installed downstream of the OEM catalysts.

    California does not allow the use of aftermarket systems that remove original equipment catalysts, (except for racing use only) unless the Air Resources Board has issued an Executive Order for that system.

    For California riders we offer Air Resources Board approved Fi2000 R ARB units. (ARB E.O. No. D-633-1). All other Fi2000 models are not legal for street use in California.
