Hard to believe but we've made the Neighbor Haters® sound even better. The GEN2 NH starts with a 4-inch round body available in chrome or black. Either version has a machined aluminum black outer tip with dual grooves. The chrome version uses a chromed inner tip and the black bodies use a gloss black inner tip. Those inner tips echo the original Neighbor Hater form creating a strong visual resemblance and sonic similarity with the original versions.
This muffler also features 2.50-inch louvered cores to achieve their great sound and performance (the original NH used a 2.5-inch perforated core). The Cobra team developed the new cores to deliver that same popular NH sound. The best part of the core design is that it produces good power on the stock head pipes, but should be able to create even more when the rider decides to build more power with either a larger engine or standard industry hop-up parts.

The state of California considers aftermarket exhaust systems to be legal replacement parts for non-catalyst equipped motorcycles and/or if slip-on mufflers are installed downstream of the OEM catalysts.
California does not allow the use of aftermarket systems that remove original equipment catalysts, (except for racing use only) unless the Air Resources Board has issued an Executive Order for that system.
For California riders we offer Air Resources Board approved Fi2000 R ARB units. (ARB E.O. No. D-633-1). All other Fi2000 models are not legal for street use in California.
