Hot Saki

Based on a standard Vulcan 800 Classic, this bike is the favorite of many of the folks here at Cobra. Hot Saki was inspired by the lines of an early Indian Scout owned by Cycle World magazine Editor, David Edwards. With projects such as this, it's fun to step back and see just what can be done with a little imagination. Built by Denny Berg, no detail has been missed. Berg sectioned the hind quarters of the Vulcan. The tank was sectioned and the stock bezel and speedo mount were removed. The bike was painted by Dawn Holmes of Prescott, AZ, considered a "nose art" specialist bar none. A Silver base paint with International Harvester Red scallops and finished off with an Asian looking girl all contribute to the unique nature of this special bike. The name of the bike, Hot Saki, fits it to a tee.

Emissions Notice

The state of California considers aftermarket exhaust systems to be legal replacement parts for non-catalyst equipped motorcycles and/or if slip-on mufflers are installed downstream of the OEM catalysts.

California does not allow the use of aftermarket systems that remove original equipment catalysts, (except for racing use only) unless the Air Resources Board has issued an Executive Order for that system.

For California riders we offer Air Resources Board approved Fi2000 R ARB units. (ARB E.O. No. D-633-1). All other Fi2000 models are not legal for street use in California.
